Welcome to Friends Hand In Hand!

Established in 2011 in the heart of the Korean community, F.H.I.H. is a non-profit organization that has been dedicated towards working with those with special needs and their families through integrated community involvement. Keeping in line with our founding goal of forming friendships and understanding between children with disabilities and our community, our activity-based program meets on a weekly basis throughout the year.

In order to create meaningful relationships and friendships between our volunteers and our friends, each volunteer is partnered with a student with disabilities. We also provide outings during the summer, organize and host holiday parties, and plan field trips for children with disabilities, their families, and their partners in order to help deepen the bonds created in the organization.

Friends Hand in Hand also serves as a forum for communicating and sharing information efficiently among all members of the organization. Using tools and services geared towards facilitating mental and physical health, we help young children of many ages with various learning disabilities develop the social and motor skills necessary to pursue a happy, independent future.
